Tonight I am scheduled to travel back to my home province. About a couple of weeks ago, we went there as a family to attend to a happy family occasion the wedding of my cousin, but here I am going back alone to attend to a sad event in the family the death of one of my dearest uncle who just passed away. I did not bring with me my wife and son since they are busy with school and couldn't leave. I decided to travel home alone this time since I am the only blood relative to him. Although my wife and son is also close to him but they just cannot do.
Tomorrow will be his funeral services and I will be arriving just before those would happen. I just hope to travel smoothly this time since its a lean season and traffic wouldn't be a hassle. I will be back here in the metropolis by
Sunday morning.

After all the emotional day yesterday, it took us almost the whole day before we parted ways with the family members. I was exhausted from the bus that after dinner I decided to sleep early and it was really good sleep I had. I just missed home and retiring for the night was just too relaxing for me.

@allknowing yeah that’s true. I know everyone was tired and wanted to be home as well. Right after the burial we just said goodbyes to one another and we were eager to be home as well. The occasion was just too sad to be really be in the mood to enjoy each other’s company.

Although I am not their direct family member, I still feel some sorrow for their loss. This uncle of mine was really the one that help us when my mom(her sister) was still alive. He would drive my mom from the province to the city to get her treatments back then.

Thanks it’s done already. We had the whole day to make our final goodbyes before he got cremated and finally buried. Today I just relaxed back home and bonded with my father. Exchanging stories back and forth then rested. Tomorrow will travel back to my family again.

Yup lots of it actually. His service to my mom when she was the one who was sick is really remarkable for me since he was the one to drive her from our home province to here to have her treatments here in the metropolis. That service alone was really am felt that I am indebted to him in gratitude. I am just sad that I could not do the same for him when he was suffering from his illness anymore.
