What a lovely, lovely day! I broke a tooth, but it doesn't hurt, and the weather was just too gorgeous to care even if it did hurt. I'm sure my bank account will start hurting when I get it repaired, but for now I'll give you another one of my favorite songs with "summer" in the title. As I said, there aren't any surprises in the top five. So lookie who's back in another countdown......
#3: Summer Wind - Frank Sinatra
Glen Campbell and Leon Russell played on Sinatra's Strangers in the Night album. In fact, that's Leon Russell on piano in this absolutely gorgeous classic.
I had this listed in my favorite pop standards. I used it in the "wind" countdown. I'll find a way to use it again (it's on my 100 favorites list, if I ever count that down). A simply sublime song.

Where are all the Sinatra fans??? A song which should be included on every summer playlist. When I hear Frank's version (the best in my view) "It Makes Me Feel So Young,"
