Movie Talk - Annabelle Comes Home

Hi guys.
Have you all set aside your time to watch the latest in The Conjuring series, Annabelle Comes Home? The premise is mostly happening at Ed and Lorraine Warren's home, but you won't see them much because there is a new hero in the storyline who will save the day. OK, I won't reveal too much lest you guys think of me as a movie spoiler reviewer.
The ghosts or spirits conjured by Annabelle this time round look more varied. They are quite scattered; meaning you get some scares and suspense along the way and this is what happens when the evil is not contained. I don't know why they have to preserve that doll and why not just burn it already.
But then, you won't then get to see a story on how Annabelle wants a Soul so bad. Yes, that's not what I said, but someone in the movie did. So, go watch it already. It's certainly not the Mission Impossible action pack type of movie or like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and IT kind of thriller/horror kind, but you get your fine share of demonic sightings; courtesy of Annabelle the freaking doll.
What can the movie improve on? Not much, but maybe a little elaboration on Annabelle backstory again for those who are new to the franchise, or how some of those entities become how they are in a flashback scene or something.
Retelling through sketches and old clips seem a bit lazy and too easy to decipher. But that's the only setback I feel. And oh yeah, maybe it can wrap up nicely with Lorraine saving the day and fighting the demon. But that's just me.
Verdict - I shall give close to full marks. Don't eat your popcorn too loud. You can feel the tension as the storyline expands and the only sound you'll hear is your chewing.

@ihasaquestion I have seen all of these movies except for the latest Annabelle movie but I 100% plan on watching it! I'm a fan of all of these movies. I wish to see the real Annabelle doll someday as well as the Warren Museum in general which Annabelle is in anyway.

@ihasaquestion Yeah which is odd as I'm trying to stay away from evil things lol but I do know for a fact that she is locked up and that room gets a prayer / blessed every day actually I think it's twice a day and as long as you don't touch anything in that room, then apparently you're safe.

Wow, you plan on that? How cool is that! I do know that the "evil" is contained, but I wouldn't risk going there.

I haven't seen any of the Conjouring stories, but I just had to drop by and say hi. I also want to ask what in the world do you have as your avatar right now?

@kepweng I used to love slasher films in my younger days, I will admit I haven't been to see one in years. But, yes, they used to be a favorite of mine!

I'm not into those movies. I once thought about watching Annabelle, but I decided not to.

I thought it was too scary this time.
But I kind of disappointed because the Warrens only appeared in the beginning and in the last part of the movie. But I like the strength and bravery of their daughter. One thing that pisses me off is that stupid girl who’s curiosity is the stupidest ever. Lol
Actually I wrote a discussion about how far your curiosity takes you, mostly talks about that movie.

@ihasaquestion Well you have a point, but still I kind of not liking it. Lol. Looking forward for the next sequel.

Yeah, she was young, dumb and naive. But then, there wouldn't be a story, no? Anyone would probably be that dumb when they have lost their love one in a crash or something.
Yeah, I was kind of miffed; the Warrens only have like a short screen time. But that's also because they are probably concentrating on the next Conjuring installation. Maybe.
(Spoiler Alert): And yeah, brave Judy Warren..kudos for her courage. She didn't really care when that kid badmouthed her so bad in school just coz he has just lost his dad.
