Where's Leilah??

Some time today I was looking for my cat Leilah around the house. I looked around the usual spots like in her cat bed, on my dad's bed, under the dining table, on random window sills and other places she was likely to be but couldn't find her.
I started to wonder if maybe I let her out and just forgotten about it. A little bit later, I was folding some towels and as I opened the linen press door to put the towels away, I see this furry thing looking at me. 
Leilah Just relaxing on a towel. She has done this before but it was so many years ago that I really didn't think to look there.

One day I was looking for Daisy and couldn't find her. I started looking everywhere. As I started to panic a little, I opened my closet door and there she was. She had followed me inside and I didn't know it. I felt so bad because she had been in there for about 30 minutes.

@simone10 Was probably only about 10 minutes. She seems to have fun in there though lol She likes to explore. It's a long wardrobe ( long as in sideways not like a deep walk in wardrobe ) so she was just walking under the clothes, over the shoes and jumped up on some small shelves in there. But it does worry me now that she's trapped in there or the lined press. Luckily she does meow when she wants to come inside the house or outside so I can only assume she would meow if she was trapped.

@simone10 aww yeah this has happened to Leilah too. Only it was in my dad's wardrobe. She likes to go explore in there. I'm sorry Daisy had you worried but so glad she was found.

@sophie09 That is very mature of you as I know quite a few who got a pet while not being able to look after them. It's kinda selfish really. I hope one day you can have enough time to have the pet you desire.

Aw so adorable! =) My cat is kind of strange-he thinks he's a dog most of the time. He doesn't hide or anything, he sprawls himself out in the middle of the floor so you cannot miss him! Lol.

LOL sometimes my dog acts like my cat lol I think little sweethearts get confused sometimes. Your cat sounds so adorable!

She is beautiful
And I, while I had a cat (the same black and white that looks a lot like yours Leilah) I found her in various unusual places, although I called her did not appear until I found her

@LowRiderX Thank you kindly. I love her a lot. Her little face makes me smile a lot. lol yeah cats can be quite the snobs. Not like dogs who almost always come when called.

@LowRiderX That was sweet of you to save the cat even though you weren't fond of them at the time. Leilah was given to us. I would never want to get a cat ever again though as it's stressful. I worry every time she goes walking around outside. I worry she will get hit or stolen etc. Too stressful!

To be honest, I did not like cats, but we saved this one from just one dog and somehow it stayed with us, I could not believe that I would ever love a cat

When we first moved into our house in California, one of my cats was so traumatized from the move that it dissappeared. I thought that it had gotten out and would try to find it's way back to our old house (a rental about four miles away) we drove back and forth on every route we could think of, no luck. Two days later he decided he was hungry and we found him hiding behind the washer, in the laundry room. He was squalling because he had gotten trapped back there. He was not even in the house when we put the washer dryer in, so not sure when or how he got back there, but he was fine. Stayed out of sight for another week before he finally forgave us and joined the family again

@cperry2 Oh man! I'm so sorry for all that worry! I was holding my breath reading all that as I was worried about the outcome. I'm so happy and relieved that he was found and everything eventually went back to normal!
