Always be my Maybe, a wonderful rom-com from Netflix

My missus and I have discovered there are gems to be found among the lesser known movies showing on Netflix. Yesterday we enjoyed The Space Between Us, a romance about a human born on Mars who falls for his cyberpal girl on Earth and the lengths he goes to so he can meet her in person. If Hallmark did sci-fi and made it just a little edgier than their regular fare, it would be very much like this movie.
Today we watched Always be my Maybe. This romantic comedy about a boy and girl who grow up in San Francisco as next door neighbors and best friends who lose touch for 16 years after high school but are then reunited is a fun movie to watch with the comedy part making it well worth the time. Keanu Reeves does a cameo appearance, sort of, but plays himself as being the opposite of his real self. It is hilarious to see.
We will be looking for more of these diamonds in the rough of the Netflix movie database over the coming weekends.

Always be my Maybe was fun and I love it. I like original netflix movies. I usually try to see their new releases.

@DWDavis Yes. I love tv shows I can binge watch on netlfix too. iN fact I am watching House of Cards on netflix at the moment on tv while my lotting.

I am not much of a movie watcher, I think it is my short attention span, lol Well that isn't true I watch Hallmark movies but they don't require thought!! I do like some of the Netflix series.

@BelleStarr My wife and I watch a lot of Hallmark movies. They make nice background when you're doing something else.

There is one show I have seen on T V One called "Fatal Attraction" which deals with relationships of men and women that ends up in a tragic end where the police have to solve the case.
