Response To Wal-Mart Killing The Greeter Position @ Many of It's Stores

I was having a discussion w/my brother Alex the other day, and he suggested that I become a Wal-Mart greeter (other people have advised me to do so in the past, since it's a decent job where my physical ailment would be irrelevant.) However, a while back I heard that many Wal-Mart's across the country were eradicating the greeter position,so that is unfortunate. With the eradication of the greeter position @ many Wal-Mart stores, a life line for many who otherwise have trouble getting hired (I'm thinking particularly of the elderly & disabled) was severed. What do you think on this?
