I didn't pay much attention when I received the change, as soon as I got home I checked it and fortunately I was able to exchange it for whole money.

yes a couple times, but when i ask to get another cash, gladly they take it and give me a good cash

That's good, but sometimes whatever we receive we have to accept it and have to throw the money into the trash.

Sometimes I also receive money this way, in bus, it is not possible to check the notes properly, on reaching home only I realize I got torn notes. Once, I got money this way in morning, next day, luckily I got the same bus, the same bus conductor was there. He refused to accept the money, I told him, this note has given by you yesterday, he looked on my face, since I am regular traveller, he could recognize me, then accepted the note.

Luckily you were not told to go down by the bus conductor, sometimes even though he recognized us he could just drop us off in the middle of the road.

@May2k8 How come, since he is the one given me the same note, I just given back. If he can't recognize then he would ask me to give another note. No reason for getting down from the bus.

I ever received torn money, you have to bring to the bank if you find a torn banknote.

@May2k8 People never accept thorn banknotes here, the stores have to bring them to banks if they received one.

yes ma'am, that'd be the banks job, to take torn funds 'n replace 'em. they destroy 'em then which takes 'em outta circulation.

Yes, many times in the past with my knowing cause I always check paper money. I don’t mind as long as it’s small enough to still be acceptable by others.
