Oh shucks, I forgot I don't work anymore. Well maybe I do cause I watch my 31/2 year granddaughter. Now that is work. Lol bot I love it. Other than that I do volunter at a food bank, take care of my inside and outside plants. These do keep me busy. I have to admit that I do miss working a real job. If you don't work what do you do with your spare time?

What spare time? I'm here or writing a book. If I'm not here, I'm at the pool or taking care of errands. Oh, maybe you mean when I finish all that. I watch TV.

@velvet53 I usually don't. I'm on the computer from the time I get home from the pool until I go to bed. I'm doing well to split my time between here and a book.

For the moment, I am not working. My kids definitely keep me busy. When they're all school and daycare, there was still things for me to do. Cleaning and laundry to name two.

i'm hopin' to be able to get back to work soon myself. 've made great progress with the health the past 2yrs that i'm beginnin' to think such's possible. dunno who'd want me?? aint thrilled 'bout all this 'nline job huntin'. what happened to a "help wanted" sign'n ya hand 'em yer resume 'r fill out'n application? sigh... i chase critters, tend the grounds best i can, tend the horses the same (still strugglin' tryin' to get hooves trimmed, takes me'n hour to get jest 1 hoof 'n then i've gotta stop - bless my ponies!) garden chores/the house 'n that quiltin' mess. wish my grands lived closer. i watched my eldest'uns the 1st 2yrs 'f their lives'n loved e'ery sec 'f such.

You are a wonderful woman. Shoot you could show a lot of people up with the knowledge and no how that you have. People just don't want us old timers anymore. They want to hire the people that doesn't know much and try to teach them. Well us oldies learned the right way. The kids now doesn't know what life is about.

@crazyhorseladycx I so remember the days when it was easy to get a job. Like you said now they want everything about you and the next thing will be a blood sample. What has this world come to. It is disgusting. I wish so much for the old days when life was so simple and life was great. By the way, what is your first name?

I work at home writing content work, blogging, and writing for different sites and I always have to keep at it to keep bringing in money a little at a time. I have no free time but I love to write. I do relax and do some reading but there are other things I would like to do so I am considering working even harder during the week and taking off on Sundays to do whatever I like to do. We will see how that works out for me.

@velvet53 I am also on Textbroker. For content writing work there is also Upwork and Fiverr. I also write on sites where I can pick up some money like here, and on Virily. There is also a site called Rational Minds which pay people to post 4 articles a month. So as long as you post and the content is original you get $6 guaranteed a month. The world of writing is crazy but I love it so I just keep plugging away. Oh, yes, you could try applying to Freelancer where you get to bid for jobs but I have not been lucky there so far.

I waste my spare time It seems. No motivation to get to projects. So, I will just keep working part time. Then "resting" on my days off feels justified.
