It wouldn't surprise me if anyone who reads this post has seen this before as it's been circled around Facebook a lot. I hope this is ok to share. I took a screenshot of this while scrolling through Facebook.
I have seen this a few times before and it's always made me smile. In this post it says "Victorian couple get the giggles whilst having their photo taken 1890s."
I find this so adorable and super sweet! Again, hope it's ok to share as technically it's not mine. Just thought it would be ok since it's all over Facebook. Please let me know otherwise.

Do you think the photos are real? Photographs back in the 1890s were terribly expensive, something only the rich could afford. Unless this couple was extremely wealthy, I don't think they would "waste" photos of themselves being silly. People just did not do silly back then! I'm not saying it's fake, just that it is possible.

@VivaLaDani13 Nah, it's not a big deal. I just find that I am skeptical these days about anything I see, hear or read about, since technology allows for media to be manipulated so easily.

@moffittjc I can understand that. In fact, you have just reminded me. I saw recently this video of "Barrack Obama" talking about Trump and other things ( I think there were other things ) but it wasn't even him at all. There is this technology where you can make it look like someone is saying something but it's not even them at all. I hope this makes sense. Otherwise I can find you the video.

@moffittjc You raise a good point. I can't confirm or deny that this photo is genuine due to the reasons you have provided. The idea that this is real makes it special but I have no idea how to find out.
I can't seem to find anything about this but would be nice to know for sure.

I have not seen it before. I like it. And as far as posting someone else's photo, as old as this is you are fine, if you use others that are more recent for this kind of post, you should always let everyone know where you got the photo. It is simply a courteousy to the photographer.

Though this time I wasn't able to give more detail about where this photo came from as it is from many sources and none of them own it so it's hard to say so that's why I just said that it came from Facebook. Otherwise I always say where it's from. Thank you for answering.

@simone10 I have heard before that people didn't smile in photos but then but I haven't learned why yet. It just seems weird to not want to smile for a photo. Though I do come from a completely different era lol
