As you all know by now it is hot out here and I don't like it. Yesterday afternoon we hit a high of 93 with the heat index at 101 F. For those that might not know the heat index is the temp that it feels like when you go outside.
I know some of you that is a normal summer, and we have temps like that during the summer and sometimes even hotter, but for me, I do not like it. I'm not a fan of heat in summer. I'm alright to about 80-85 F, but any higher and I become quite the cry baby.
I am looking forward to having tomorrow off of work due to the 4th of July. I think I might be able to get out of work early today if I finish the project I got yesterday. Of course they been talking about it coming through for a while and I waited and waited for it that then yesterday they finally got it to me. Then they say can you get it done before the 4th, umm what? I been waiting for months for this and now you drop it to me and need it done right away.
I hate this kind of sh...stuff. This wait till the last minute and then you need it done right away. Of course that happens here all the time. Oh well, instead of complaining I guess I should just get to it.
Hope you all have a good day and stay cool out there.

And here it was hell in the last few days, they announced rain that naturally (expected) did not fall. But what I'm concerned about is the icy rain that they announce for the Sunday, I will have to contend to protect plants

@LowRiderX Oh, alright, we call that hail it's chunks of ice falling out of the sky, we call ice rain when it is rain mixed with very little ice, like the size of little tiny flies. it doesn't hurt you at all but what your talking about, well your right I don't want that.

@Bensen32 Yes, ice rain, ice that literally can be the size of the egg. That destroys everything, destroys plants, cars ... roofs of houses. I doubt that you need something like that

it was 96 and a heat index, I got in my swimsuit and mowed grass. I love it! But today it was cloudy with showers and only 88, much cooler.
