Almost a year...

I can't believe this baby girl has been with us for almost a year. Danie arrived in my home on the 24th of July. I actually picked her up at the airport at around 10 in the evening coz her flight got delayed.
From the moment she arrived, she brought nothing but joy into our lives. She became an instant favorite. She's the most affectionate dog I've ever had. Even my brothers and sisters couldn't resit her charm.
Danie is popular in my neighbourhood too. She would give kisses to my neighbours and they gladly accept that with hugs too. Whenever we go to the mall, she gets everyone's attention as well and they'd ask to take photos of her.
I can't imagine life without this baby by my side.

Oh yes she is such a darling! My French friend came here for a visit two weeks ago and he spent an afternoon with Danie. He has fallen in love with her.

@DianneN My French friend even told me that there was a middle age woman at the dog park who asked him if she could kiss Danie, but the next thing she asked was if she could kiss my friend!

Me too. I'm really fortunate to have her as part of our family. I've always wanted a Bichon Frise from the time my son was only two years old. But simply couldn't find one in my country. Took us 12 years to finally found one and she is well loved.

She's a Bichon Frise. WE go to the doggy spa once a month. Surprisingly Bichon Frises have higher tolerance for heat than cold.

Oh you have new puppies!
I can't imagine having more. Maybe another Bichon Frise would be nice. But at the moment, Danie is enough.

Me too! Can't believe it's been almost a year. And Danie stays healthy. That's the most important thing for me. We only visit the vet for her regular shots.
