We Got Rained Out | Awesome Sunset | 7/3/19

Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well.
The last concert of the 4th of July celebration was tonight....but just as things were getting started, it started lightly raining, and was pretty windy/chilly. So the weather was not great at the concert tonight. I enjoyed the band the most tonight (I'll share more about that when I write up that review).
Anyways...the rain kind of settled for a while, but then after being there for an hour or so, it started raining again...and got even more chilly so we left.
Anyways, once we got home...we saw this amazing sunset. The sky looked so weird...and it was so orange. The camera does not do it justice at all.
What do you all think of the sunset photo?
Ugh....been listening to the annoying fireworks for the past 30 minutes or more. It was fun the first night or two, but now it is starting to get old.

Cool photo. They were out at 11 pm shooting off fireworks. That's much too late for that. Poor dogs in the area. They were really loud.

Thank you. Yes, they sometimes are out as late as midnight here! Luckily it seems to have stopped here (just before 11). True, poor dogs...and kids and everyone else!

@Deepizzaguy I would have to agree....and 5 minutes before that it was all dark and gloomy from the storm. So strange!

@andriaperry That's true, unless you have a camera that costs thousands of dollars perhaps. Doubt my DSLR would have done any better.

I'm surprised the show went on in the rain! But we all had fun even if it was quick because of that. I wish the photo just did the sunset justice.

At least you got to enjoy some of the concert. True rock stars play rain or shine haha until lightning is involved, then ehh best not.

That is true, this was my favorite of the 5 bands too. We were sad cause they were playing a Journey song as we left haha. But yes, that's awesome about truck rock stars!

Thank you so much, it looked so much better in person....but only so much quality you can get from a phone camera! It's okay, we still got to enjoy the show for a while, and I got a few videos to share soon
