The last leg of the tour - LA to San Francisco

It was less than a two hour flight We arrived in the morning and the day was filled with sight seeing - what I recall was we got to see the Golden Gate Bridge,and the Lombard Street (crooked street) Felt good to hear that Indians had a role to play in putting up that Bridge. We had time to shop and loiter around. We checked into the hotel after dinner in an Indian restaurant, There was a message for me from a friend who said she would come and pick me up. I had to skip going to the Alcatraz Island the next morning - the last on the itinerary. I had paid for it. I checked out and could not meet the group but just reported to the tour conductor. .
