Very close to getting $100 from Google

I am pretty close to reaching $100 in my Google AdSense account. This will be my second $100 since signing up in January 2010.
My first $100 was paid in December 2013, so it took me three years to reach that minimum. That also means that it is taking me about six years to get to my second $100. That is crazy! But at least I am making it.
I have about $4 left to go to finally reach $100. Wonder how long that will take.
Google AdSense earnings are beyond my control because they come mostly from ad clicks and the CPC amount, which is not determined by me. So, I never know how much I am going to make or how long it will take me to reach payout, which is $100.
Anyone else use AdSense?

What I make is very little compared to what others get. Some get hundreds, if not thousands, yearly. Heck, even on HubPages, it takes me now three months to reach $50 minimum. There are people there who reach that every month and even surpass that by a lot. Some make hundreds a month on there. It partly has to do with luck but you also have to be an SEO expert I think and write about stuff that is not widely available online.

Yes, the payout there is $100. That is too high in my opinion.

Virils is different than mylot. Has its pluses and minuses. I am not very successful there. I just now got paid my first $10 payout. Had to pay a 75 cent fee. Took since 2017 to reach it.
