It was quiet for me (fireworks notwithstanding). My sister-in-law ended up in the ER with food poisoning, though.

I went on a road trip-like vacation last week so I didn’t have to be on the road this weekend with the holiday traffic. Lots of booming fireworks in the neighborhood.

Sounds like you had a fun and fulfilling day. Hope your legs get to feeling better, but I bet it's good pain. Pain from something fun is always better than pain from something not so fun, if that makes any sense.

I am happy to hear that you got out to hit some tennis balls around. Its not playing a game, but its got to be relaxing just the same. I think that since you cannot eat a lot of the foods that are offered when you go out, that you bring me along to eat your cast-offs. Especially the desserts.

Sounds like a great day. Love the garden photo. We had rain but lots of fireworks in the neighborhood until past midnight. And Nashville had records breaking crowds for the show.
