Mental exhaustion....

That's what I am feeling right now. I have not done any chores today or no exercise. Just did a quick cooking to have a light meal for me and my daughter who is sick.
Just taking care of my sick daughter and seeing her so weak is taking a toll. I feel mentally drained. Thank God she is a little better today and it was good to see her smiling and talking when I was with her.
Though a lot of chores are pending, I will not go for it. I just want to squeeze between my two daughters and take a nap hugging them both. We all need it after two sleepless nights.
Younger one was too worried about her big sister and kept checking on her in night.

Yes. That's what I have been saying her. They fight and tease each other all the time. But when one is not well, the other one goes through a low phase.

@arunima25 I have my mom living with us right now. She was diagnosed with dementia and can't be left alone. It's taxing. Plus other family drama with her house. See my posts

@kareng I will check. I have been dealing with my mom in law who is a kidney patient and has dementia since last 5 years after her brain Haemohrrage in a road accident. I can understand it well. She stays with me. She has gone to our native for some time. I know it is taxing. Stay strong.

The culture result should be here by today evening. Then I will consult doctor. Fever is not there but she feels weak and sleepy.

How old would your daughters be?
Yup, when a child is ill, the chores can wait. The cuddling and sweet caresses are healing methods. Tell the sister to keep a prayer, to hasten the recovery. A sibling's prayer is always answered quick. My daughter would do that when the other was ill,.
Rest your mind, friend. Don't worry. Your daughter will be all right. Keeping a prayer for the three of you.

The one who is sick is 15 and younger one is 12. Though they are grown up kids, they do need hugging and caressing. Thanks for your prayers.

She is a little better today. She is weak and sleepy but luckily no fever is there. Also she is able to digest light food without throwing up. Hope that she recovers fast. The culture report will be here by evening.

The elder one has got UTI. She is 15 and is now a little better with medication. By God's grace her younger sister is fine. Thanks for your concern.
