National Don't Put All Your Eggs in One Omelet Day 1901 - Barbara Cartland was born. She was an English romance novelist. She wrote an amazing 723 romance novels which were translated into 38 languages. She was a best-selling and one of the most prolific and commercially successful worldwide authors of the 20th century. She died in 2000. 1956 - Tom Hanks was born. He is an American actor, director, producer and screenwriter. Some of his more popular movies are: Splash (1984), Big (1988), Turner & Hooch (1989), A League of Their Own (1992), Sleepless in Seattle, Philadelphia (1993), Forrest Gump (1994), Apollo 13 (1995), You've Got Mail (1998), Cast Away (2000), Captain Phillips (2013), Sully (2016). The first National Day is one of my favorite sayings. Tom Hanks is wonderful to watch. As for Barbara Cartland, well, I read her books years ago. She was a good clean writer.
