Hi. My name is Lanie. I'm a college student with severe disabilities. I'm blind, autistic, and have lots of chronic illnesses. I'm studying for a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at Brigham Young University-Idaho online. I don't work, but I do accessibility testing for developers a lot to help them make their apps and websites more accessible to disabled people. I also run a blog and groups for people with multiple disabilities like me and am trying to grow it into a nonprofit organization.

You have those disablities but they don't have you.
You are loved, smart, accepted by Jesus and a hard worker. =)

I responded to another of your discussions where you mentioned that you are blind. You didn't mention on that one that you are autistic. My partner and youngest child have varying degrees of high-functioning autism.
It seems you have set your sights high, and not allowed your disabilities to inhibit you. That's awesome. I wish you well in your studying and in your venture. I am sure you will go far.
