How many times have you been able to say that about something? It “works as advertised.” One of my best purchases is one of those “insulated cups” that claims it will keep the cold liquids cold for a long time. This is the Ozark Trail 30-ounce cup. Ozark Trail is the “outdoors” brand sold at Wally World. There are other companies that make these (Yeti being the best-known, and most expensive), but I went with the Wal-Mart special for one simple reason: I didn’t want to spend $40 on a cup that kept ice for seconds instead of hours. The 30-ounce Ozark Trail cup cost less than $10. And, man, does it work. This morning, for instance, I got in my car and took a sip. The water in the cup was iced at about 4 PM yesterday, then spent the afternoon in the car, along with all night. Now, I have a detached garage, so it wasn’t in direct sunlight. Still, when I took a sip of the water after 19 hours it was still cold. Not “cool” or “lukewarm.” COLD. This year I’ve taken to hauling gallons of water to golf tournaments, along with this cup filled with ice. It’s served me very well thus far. I’m extremely happy with this purchase!

@scarlet_woman — I’ve seen those big ones that look like they should have spigots on the side. My brother’s is a 20-ounce cup....tiny by “Bubba” standards.

They aren’t as good with hot beverages, but that’s specified (hot 8 hours, cold 16). My brother has a Bubba, and in 92-degree heat we both had ice in our cups in our cars
