Berkeley County Sheriff Deputy William Kimbro is being called an angel by the mother of a 12 day infant girl named Riley who had digested some milk while caused her to stop breathing as her mother was speeding on a road in Summerville to a local hospital to seek treatment for her daughter. Officer Kimbro pulled over the driver of the auto who happened to be the mother of Riley. When Officer Kimbro saw that Riley was not breathing, he used first aid by rubbing the tummy and face of Riley to assist her to breathe again. Riley was able to recover from her health scare thanks to the assistance of the police officer who was calm under pressure. Not to mention a lot of praying for the recovery of Riley who was then taken to a local hospital to be treated for her illness before she was released to be taken home with her mom. What makes this story interesting is that thanks to the body cam all police officers use, good stories of assisting people in need can be sent to social ,media since the national news media will not report these kinds of stories. At least on rare occasions as fill in stories at the end of their telecasts. For obvious reasons, Riley's mom was not issued a citation for speeding on the road.

I guess police officers these days are also being trained to deal with children and adults who have medical problems.

I agree with you since the officer is a guardian angel to the mom of Riley.

It is a great shame that the media often doesn't want to report good news.

That is one thing I have learned that police officers and firefighters are being trained to save lives through first aid training.

@Deepizzaguy Officer Kimbro saved the day. I can see why she did not get a citation.
