Phew ! Well, it's 12:06 pm by my watch right now. When I got home from running (well, walking) my errands, my step counter said I had 11,993 steps--and the day's not over. First I walked Angel, and because I hadn't done so in so long, I took her down to the park, which is about a mile's walk from my house. There were no dogs at the park, , but she met several on the way there and back, plus she got a nice long walk in, so that was good. When we got home from that, about 9:45 a.m or a bit after that, I got my purse and glasses that needed to be fixed and headed to one of the shopping centers, where "America's Best" the place where I got my glasses--is. I needed my spare pair fixed, as one of the little screws fell out of the frame and disappeared. I was about halfway there when I man I know from walking Angel stopped and offered me a ride to where I was going, so that saved me some wear and tear on my sandals. After he dropped me off and I got my glasses fixed, I bopped over to Trader Joe's, a little grocery-type store, and got a few things. I hadn't been there in a while, so I thought, since I was close... After that, I headed to the shopping center kitty corner to the one I had been at to go to the mattress store. About a week ago I noticed that when I got into bed, I felt like I was going on a downward slope, so...with my back problems, I certainly didn't need that. Then, I headed to the bus stop. One of the buses I would have taken didn't run on Saturday, and the other wouldn't be there for forty-six minutes, and I knew I could walk home in less than half that time, so... Now I'm home. I have no doubt whatsoever that I will sleep well tonight. There's still things I need to do, but I am going to have lunch and do Bible study first. So, that is what I've been up to this morning. I hope that you've all gotten the things you've wanted to done in your part of myLot land !

It's great to walk. I don't really do that unless I have to go somewhere and have to walk to the train or bus. Otherwise, I am home and not that active, which is not good.

I've never been that super-active, either, but now that my mother is gone (she was the one who drove me everywhere) I either walk, or take the bus or a Lyft.

@xstitcher I don't take things like lyft or uber. It's walking and public transportation unless I am lucky and hubby can take me where I want to go or maybe my dad.
