National Mac and Cheese Day
1881 - Billy the Kid is shot and killed after killing 8 men. He was born in 1859.
1938 - Howard Hughes flies around the world in 91 hours and sets a new record.
1976 - Capital punishment is abolished in Canada.
1960 - Jane Lynch was born. She is an American actress, game show host, author, singer and comedian. She is best known for her role as Sue Sylvester in Glee and a recurring role on Two and a Half Men. Some of her movie credits: Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Best in Show, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Role Models and The Three Stooges. She has hosted Hollywood Game Night on NBC since 2013.
