My Life has become Turmoil / myLot

Since my daughter and her significant other thing moved into the basement . She has brought her other 2 kids to live here since their dad finally after years of not has started working. I already ad 2 of the kids living here with my other 2 daughters and I . I stress more these days than I ever did . I think it is because I am getting older and the kids constant fighting and not listening gets to me more. My kids were never so disrespectful they knew better ,but these guys ave been able to get away with stuff their whole lives. When I start stressing very bad I open my Paint by Number app and bury myself in it for awhile .It seems to help some what. So when you are distressed or stressed out what do you do to relax ? A favorite hobby, read a book?

I pray and listen to worship music which helps a lot. I will be praying things get easier on you. I'm so glad they have a place to stay and you're blessing them so they won't be on the street.

I couldn't be the kind to allow my kid to live on the street with their kids. However a bit of respect would be nice.

@jeanena It's never easy living with others-family or not. But you are doing a great thing and when they leave you might miss some of the noise. I know its hard to imagine right now.

That sounds really rough. I hope something can get straighten out and some laws of the land can be put out there. My grandma really likes those paint by number apps. I normally write a little fan fiction to put myself in a different world for a while or I draw something that isn't pertaining to my own work, normally a character from my favorite show or my original character cuddling with my favorite character from that show haha

I use to write as a way to cope with things , but after our house burned 4 years ago ..I lost all of them stories and just can't seem to get started again.

When I'm stressed, reading a book will help. Going for a walk or watching a show/movie will also help. These are just some things that help me.

Being out and about in the fresh air is usually a good thing. Just getting away from the noise and being able to hear yourself think. It helps me as well.

Music, getting out in the yard, nature, listening to the birds, and my cats help me relax. I hope you can find something that helps you.

That is truly disgusting having an extended family. Why can;t they move out and live on their own. It's hard to bet lousy kids. It aches your heart and disturbs your presence. I also hate that way. We need peace and ordered life. Sorry for what you are facing this time. This shall pass by the way.
