An interesting story that started out bad for Joe Powell and his wife Sheryl who had this terrible event happen to Joe at the Grandview Campsite near Bishop California on Friday.
Joe called the local police on Friday after he reported his wife missing after they were separated for a period of seven minutes while he was moving his auto.
Thanks to the Inyo County Sheriff's Office (ICSO) officers who used the latest technology in an attempt to find Sheryl and her dog alive, they managed to beat the odds of the tough terrain of the campsite.
The ICSO had assistance from other law enforcement officials to find Sheryl's dog first on Monday morning and then Sheryl herself near the Montenegro Springs area alive and well.
Sheryl was taken to a local hospital to be given a medical exam after her ordeal since she was mentally shaken up.
Joe suspects that his wife was abducted by strangers since he cannot figure out what happened to his wife after a short time separated from each other in the campsite near the Nevada-California border.
It is nice to see a happy ending to what could have been another tragic camping story.

@Deepizzaguy Unfortunately that is true. People want blood and guts these days. I prefer happy news, personally.

@Deepizzaguy Yes. We cannot accept the husband's story hook line and sinker. Please advise me on the result of the investigation. Intriguing tale.

Missing for four days must have been a very stressful feeling for Joe Powell.
