Sweet Pea in Purple

I think I can honestly say that my idea of planting my sweet peas in amongst my roses has paid off. The roses hold them well and they just add a little splash of colour. I shared a photo of my pastel pink sweet pea recently but, by way of a contrast, I'm now sharing a darker one. A beautiful satiny purple. I'm looking forward to seeing what other colours come out.

I love sweet peas. And they can be used as cut flowers too.

That's a really good idea. It would be fun to see the sweet pea flowers in among the roses.

As I only have a relatively small garden I try all sorts of things to try and get more plants in. I'll definitely be doing this again next year.
