Good thing texting these days is unlimited

I remember back in the day when for text messages you had to pay per text. I think it was something like 25 cents a text. Good thing that now texting is unlimited because these days people like to send a lot of texts when they can just put that all into one. Like one text will say Hi; the next text will have an emoji or two, the next a few words; and so on. And that really adds up if you have to pay for each text message.

Grateful to have unlimited, I actually didn’t start texting until my niece and a former friend who was hard of hearing showed me how that was like 2010 or 2011!

Texting is great. Downside is some people get together and instead of having actual conversations sit there and text with each other.

Yes. So many people live on their phones these days. I see kids with their heads down, pecking away at the keyboard.

Yep. I see people doing that while walking or crossing the street. And some people even do that while driving.

@mrki444 Or even correctly spelling things because they tend to abbreviate and use acronyms.

My friend, that's how business is being promoted. Not only texting is unlimited, but call is also unlimited. Do you know that?

in Bosnia you still pay for sending texts and phone calls (not much) and even though you can text on messenger, whatsapp and other apps, i like it when i get a text or phone call, makes me feel special, i don't know.
