With a boatload of doctor and dental appointments next month I won’t be going anywhere. So I thought it’s the perfect time to take a pre-colonoscopy trip.
I’m in Bristol, Virginia right now. I’ll be going to the Birthplace of Country Music Museum tomorrow. From there, who knows (other than to a regional sub shop to pick a couple of subs up for my brother). Maybe down the Blue Ridge Parkway. Maybe to Macon, Georgia. You just never know.
The drive was stunning. I went down I-75 to Corbin, where I left the interstate to eat at a good barbecue place. From there I took US 25 to Cumberland Gap, where I decided to head up to Bristol.
Now all I need to see is John came this way on his recent trip, too.....

The worst thing about a colonoscopy is the prep.

@velvet53 — you don’t get the goop any more, it’s a year’s supply of Miralax in Gatorade.

That does not sound like much fun. Sounds like a nice trip. Are you talking about John from here?

I was at the Cumberland Gap. Didn't head into Virginia.
