1988 - Daniel Maccabee (Adam Sandler), 22, leaves right before his wedding ceremony when he finds out his fiancee is cheating on him. She only wanted to marry him because he was going to be a doctor.
Danny, now 45, is a successful plastic surgeon in Los Angeles who fakes unhappy marriages to get women. The only one who knows about his ruses is his office manager, Katherine Murphy (Jennifer Aniston), a divorced mother of two.
Danny meets Palmer, a sixth grade math teacher; and they have a connection. The next morning she finds his ring and figures he is married. She refuses to see him again.
Danny goes to Palmer's school and tells her that he is getting a divorce from a woman named Devlin. Palmer insists on meeting Devlin; so Danny asks Katherine to pose as her. Then Katherine's children also get roped into this ruse; and funny situations ensue.
If this review sounds like my review for "Cactus Flower", you would be 100% correct as "Just Go With It" was based on the movie "Cactus Flower". If you want to find out what happens, you will have to watch the movie.
This romantic comedy received mostly negative reviews; and Sandler and director Dugan both won a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actor and Worst Director, respectively. In spite of all this, the movie did well at the box office with box office receipts of $215 million against a budget of $48 million.
I personally don't think this movie is a total loss. I always enjoy watching it. You might want to give it a try.
This film was released in 2011 and is rated PG-13.

I have watched this movie several times. My wife and I both enjoy it. As to what the professional reviewers thought, I put very little stock into the opinion of someone who makes living reviewing movies because they couldn't find honest work.
