Ready to go Campi - I should say RVing

With a heat index of 108F/42C at the moment, this does not seem like a time to be thinking about going camping. Honestly, if we were still tent, popup, or hybrid campers, we would cancel this weekends plans. However, we are none of those any longer.
We are RVers. While we may not be able to enjoy as many outdoor activities as we would if the weather were more pleasant, we can enjoy some time away from the house and all the things around here we think we should be doing.
I wish our son could come camping with us. Then, it would cool off and rain. I don't know why but whenever 3 or more of us camp together sooner or later it cools off and rains.
Do you have any plans for this upcoming weekend? If it is hot where you are, how do you plan to beat the heat?

It seemed like anytime my dad took us camping it would rain most of the time. Have fun and stay hydrated.

@wolfgirl569 It hasn't cooled down, but we did get a brief shower last night.

We will be hiding in the AC most likely.

It's hot here as well. I've been out pulling weeds for 30-45 minutes just before noon every day (sticking to the shady parts of the yard). I'm looking forward to a trip up the east coast in a few weeks and am eagerly anticipating cooler temperatures!

@DWDavis last summer we went to Germany prepared for rain and temperatures in the upper 60. It rained the first day and was in the upper 80s and 90s the entire time we were there.
I was in Halifax in mid May of this year. I didn't take my winter coat because I didn't want to be THAT person...it snowed.
I think I'll take everything.

It is supposed to be 101 on Saturday, I think I will stay inside with the AC and maybe swim in the evening.

@DWDavis It is about 84 which is plenty warm but it is a large pool so it never gets actually hot.

Hopefully your destination is somewhere that you will enjoy a cool breeze off of a lake, that would make it all worth while, because it is going to be a terribly hot and humid weekend.
I have to work on Saturday, and on Sunday we have been invited to our son's home. They have done a lot of work out in the yard and I haven't seen it yet, so I am looking forward to that.

It's heating up here. Just staying inside during the heat of the day.
