At last, my knitted jacket is finished!

Yes, I am glad about it. It has been ages that I have knitted a pullover. This time I knitted my own cotton jacket. I knitted it while I was watching tv especially if it was not an interesting movie or show to watch. I have not made it perfectly but it is still fine for me as it is in my petite size. It took me 3 weeks to finish it but yesterday was the longest time I have done with knitting. I wanted to finish it this week.
Have you done any DIY this year? What was it?
I will post the photo of my knitted jacket after posting this discussion as I am writing this on our home computer. My photos are still in my Ipad.
Btw, have you seen the moon last night? I haven´t. I did not know about it until this morning when it was the topic of my friends in WhatsApp.
Anyway, have a pleasant day/evening to all of you wherever you are.

that's beautiful! outside 'f some repairs 'round the place the hubs's let slide, no ma'am. couldn't see the eclipse here, 'twas too many clouds :(

That is a beautiful jacket...such a pretty color. One winter I knitted some scarves and crocheted a purse, but that's all.

Thank you @1creekgirl. Winter is usually the time for me to knit as it is so cold to go outside. Scarves and purse are easily finished when knitting.

What a lovely job you did, knitting this beautiful jacket! I use to knit a lot, but the past few years I haven't done any. This winter, I am planning to get some things made, maybe for Christmas presents.

I mostly knit in the winter before but this time I made it this summer out of the blue. Grandmothers know best how to knit. My late mother-in-law taught me how to knit but due to our language barrier at that time, I only understood how to make it when I was reading the knitting book that she had given me. There were pictures on it that is why it was easy for me to learn knitting. Thanks @LowRiderX
