Airbnb is giving customers an opportunity to spend the night in the 27-foot-long Oscar Mayer Wienermobile in honor of National Hot Dog Day which was yesterday, July 17. Interested parties need to log into Airbnb's Wienermobile listing on July 24 to book a stay on August 1, 2 or 3, 2019. The rate is currently listed at $136 per night. The Wienermobile will be parked in Chicago, Oscar Mayer's hometown. The hot dog can accomodate 2 guests. There is a mini-fridge on board stocked with Chicago-style hot dog essentials, a roller grill for grilling that you can take home after use, an outdoor space, a custom Wienermobile-inspired art piece by local artist Laura Kiro, and a "Suns Out, Buns Out" welcome package complete with hot-dog related clothing to wear while staying in the Wienermobile. To answer a MyLot member's question, I saw a picture of the inside; and I did not see a restroom. The Wienermobile first made its appearance in 1936; and there are now 6 that tour the country. $136 a night? Is there a toilet on board?

@JohnRoberts I just added some new information that I found if you want to read it. Also, there doesn't appear to be a restroom on board. I found a picture of the interior online.

Not only is it too small and too cramped as others have pointed out, you have to deal with gawkers.

No bathroom? That's a lot of money to not have a bathroom! Lol.

I am not sure this would be a highlight for me in life. Fun to look at. But sleeping in it? Especially not for $136.
