Who remembers this line from "Strawberry Fields Forever" by the Beatles? "Living is easy with eyes closed..." Sure, if you don't have to look at all the problems in the world, life would be easy. So many things are happening in the world around us -- climate change, plastic pollution, poverty, joblessness, drought, floods...the list is endless. Many people choose to worry only about what is happening within their family unit without any real concern about what they can do to help alleviate some of these problems. My eyes are wide open which is why one of the things you mentioned, climate change, is a load of bunk.

I’d definitely rather live with them opened, because if we close our eyes to the things around us, we are bound to repeat the mistakes of the past.
