A friend is someone who always be there for us no matter. They know us well, and may affect our live less or more. There are your school mates, classmates, college friends, hang-out friends, and spouses.
If you are friends with the good one, then your life will good too. And vice versa. But unfortunately, not those people we call friends are real. The real ones are those who really care about us, be there for us, and help us when we're at our lowest point.
But you may notice some fake friends around you too. They backstab you, they talk bad things about you behind your back, they leave you for a better friend, they dont like it when you achieve something good, they be there for you when they need something from you.

@sophie09 I am 28 but started filtering my friends at 26. Quality time is better than barely having any time trying to meet up with all your friends. Just to see that some of them are backbiting you or worst will leave you in times of trouble and need.

I have noticed a few fake online friends who I had to get rid of when their insults online crossed the line of decency.

I have one online lady like that. I recruited her to my Jewelry in Candles team when I was in direct sales. She was nice, we had things in common but as time went on I saw that she just wanted to be involved in more things and pretty much broaden her circle of friends by trying to take all of MY friends away. I know she gossiped because she did to me. So I know she is talking about me behind my back. Others will figure her out soon enough.

Oh yes and I can see them coming from a mile off most of the times.

I generally like nice people, I have a few good friends, and some I don't see much, but we message each other . I noticed one of my friends, I hear from less and less, I am not sure why.
Sometimes, I trust the wrong people and find out when it is too late, it is hard for me sometimes to see who is really being a friend and not there for the right reasons.

@sophie09 I had a lot of them when I was in high school but I just continued being nice and loyal to them. But nowadays my tolerance has been less and less. I'd rather talk to my real friends. I have two best friends who I trust very much. And I'm so grateful for them. They are real friends. I do have some others friends who I trust too. Probably 2 others who I will easily call my friends. I'm also grateful for the friends I have here on MyLot but there are some who are fake here.

@sophie09 not the real friend,just colleagues.I grew up in a small county,graduated from university of a big city,then work in a another big city.Maybe i had real friend in childhood,the years have passed, we went our separate ways to earn living, i havn`t meet them again.

Oh, I've had my fair share of the so called friends at work. They don't seem to be very happy when I achieve something or is happy about something I have that they suddenly decided they'd want to have too. When you get to see the real ones though, you'll feel so appreciative of their existence.

I used to have a fake friend. She talked about me behind my back and tried to ruin my other friendships. She is not my friend any more

@sophie09 She was jealous at my other friends. She wanted to be my only friend. She started dating one of my male friends, and she tried to do the same with him. She didn't want him to see his friends. They are not together anymore.

@sophie09 Because that is all they care about how can they score some exra cash free drinks what ever. Sometimes nice to be poor. Never have to worry about that.
