Free Viewing of the Lion King.

My doctor of a daughter called Thursday night and asked if I'd like to watch Lion King. Duh! Of course. She was given two free tickets, courtesy of the department. My elder daughter has director's cut tickets for today, it was payment for a speaking engagement a few weeks back. That means I really am destined to watch an old favorite. My elder daughter grabbed Grab to bring me to a distant mall, she deemed it wise for me not to drive at night. I enjoyed the ride. First time I was watching the city structures and neon lights instead of the rear ends of cars and the bumper to bumper roads. The event was a treat. I received a loot bag with a burger, a doughnut, a crisp oatmeal bar, a bottle of water, and a dove baby lotion. Ha ha ha. I felt like a VIP.

It's an old but the best movie there is. Did you know I once had a book on it when i was a kid and read it over and over again until i got to watch the movie myself. Good thing they made a remake of this.

The Disney strategy o making live versions of the old animations is brilliant. The captive audience are the children quarter of a century ago, and that includes you. Ha ha

@Letranknight2015 In reality, that is beginning to happen. Dogs can talk and sing. Dolphins and seals, too. Scary, noh?

@eileenleyva It looked so real to me. Yeah, the children were going to be happy but they might think animals can talk, lol.

Oh that's nice that you have lots of loot and enjoyed a free movie from it. The director's cut is pretty much the same as the on VIP lounge cinema of Fisher Mall. The seats can be reclined there too right.

Really? I actually declined my elder daughter's director's cut, precisely because it was at that elite mall. So this viewing was meant for me. I enjoyed the loot even if I couldn't eat the sugary donut.

@eileenleyva I think there’s even that small button that you can call someone and order something from them. . They just do not have that blanket if you feel cold.

@rsa101 I think I had tried that seat at Greenbelt - a reclining seat that go full stretch, with a mini table for the food. No blanket though, and no push button for food. As far as getting cold - I wrap my head with a shawl and still my bones are chilled. I am old.
