Back to work today!

I had two days off, so I took care of errands Wednesday and Thursday, and went to a San Francisco Giants baseball game last night.
I actually caught a batting practice baseball, which is always exciting, even at my age, but I left after nine innings (the game went 16) because I had to work today.
I took BART (rapid transit) to the game and walked the 1.5 mile route along the Embarcadero to get to the park. On that route, you get to walk UNDER the Bay Bridge.
I'll attach a picture of the Bay Bridge that I took on my way to a previous Giants game.
Some things that struck me: Many people carry cell phones and avoid eye-contact by using them constantly; most people are nice one you break through their barrier and talk to them; there are still a lot of homeless people in San Francisco; San Francisco is still a funky/cool town, with joggers, artisans, scalpers, street people, and suited lawyers all mingling together.
I also heard a lot of teenagers speaking in Italian and German at the game. Probably visiting the US on some sort of exchange program.
I'll write more later.

They did. But I watched it at home. I had to work, so I left after the 9th inning. I watched their victory at home (in the 16th inning) after a 1.5 mile walk along the Embarcadero (see photo--it's pretty), a long BART ride, and a short drive home.

The Cubs are my #2 team, being a National League fan and living in Chicago between the ages of 8 and 17. I was a left field Bleacher Bum for a couple of Summers. Caught a home run ball off the bat of a Pirate named Jim Morrison in the '80s and was on the news that night (WGN). It was a nice backhanded grab in the left field bleachers. I didn't throw it back." It was the ninth inning, the Cubs were getting slaughtered, and I wanted to keep it.

@DocAndersen I had a Bruce Sutter-signed baseball...signed by him in the bleachers after a Pepsi promo filming (I had caught a batting practice home run) ...and then...and then...I can't talk about it...

Is it a wet walk under the bridge?
Great picture of the bridge. I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
Yes, I've seen that a lot. No one knows how to make eye contact anymore. Soon they'll need to teach a class in eye contact. It could be a phenomenon for the next generation.
