Hello everyone. I hope you are having a good day. It is 95 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. I'm hiding inside in the air conditioning.
I just got back from doing the weekly grocery shop. I was pleased to only spend $46 and have only 2 bags to schlep up 2 flights of stairs. I didn't get any meat but I didn't need to because the freezer already has plenty.
Now I am myLotting and killing time. I'm supposed to go out for drinks and a late lunch with a friend/coworker. That isn't until 2 pm though so I still have an hour and a half to wait.
What's everyone else up to today?

It's 82 degrees this afternoon, on our back porch. The thermometer isn't in the sun, so it might not be on target. I drove down to city park, but didn't stay because it was getting hotter by the minute! We need to buy groceries today, also. We're out of some small stuff, so it shouldn't cost us an arm and a leg. All the way around us in Michigan, the temperature is hovering around 100 degrees!

@NJChicaa Because of the jet stream, we are 10-20 degrees cooler in the summer and 10-20 degrees warmer during the winter months. I really don't understand why!
