This was a great song released by Queen as a single right on July 19th in 1980 and was included in their third U.K. album The Game. The other single from the album was “Another One Bites the Dust” and both songs were successful and topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S and their album sold over four million copies.
The song was written by band member Freddie Mercury in 1979 and became the group’s first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100. Mercury wrote the song as a tribute to Elvis Presley.
Who knows this song?

That was news to me too @andriaperry I just cannot find on the net if Elvis and Mercury ever met. Perhaps the timing was off.

@andriaperry this is one interesting story I finally found online
According to the book Freddie Mercury by Peter Freestone - page 84 it says - quote:-
Part of the American leg of that tour involved the bands use of a very special plane. The plane that was originally booked was found not to be airworthy, and so a substitute was rented at very short notice from a very special place.
The Lisa Marie was furnished by the Elvis Presley Organisation and we used this delightful personalized jet for several weeks. It was the closest Freddie ever got to meeting Elvis. It would have been his dream come true. At a later date, Lisa Marie actually gave Freddie a scarf which had once belonged to her father. It was a treasured possession, one which certainly did not end up in Freddie's loft - - unquote...........
THIS WAS DURING THE HOT SPACE US TOUR

That was rather "un-Queen" sounding. Loved it, though.

The song definitely had an Elvis sounding feel to it! The first tune Freddie ever played rhythm guitar on.
