Ready to head out to start camping

How is everyone’s weekend going? Mine is just beginning and today my plan is to pick up my friend in a little bit and we are hitting the road to Iowa, near McGregor on the Mississippi River where we have a campsite booked for just one night. It’s about a 3.5 hour drive and then tomorrow we will venture for WInona, MN and go “glamming” there in a hotel. Kind of excited!
I don’t enjoy driving for long periods of time though ( and to me, 3.5 hours is plenty) so we shall see how that goes. Also am running off about 5.5 hours of sleep, which for me means I will be a little drowsy.

I have not yet went camping this year i really want to just havent been able to find the right time to go

We bought a camper and went to a campsite for 4 days. It was great although I didn't sleep well. The mattress on the bed in the camper was hard as a rock. I'll be buying a new mattress before we go camping again.
