As I was cooking my lunch it really started to rain. Up to then, rain was just a nuisance. Now, I am sure that even Luna will not dare go out of her house until it stops.
I don´t mind rain too much but I do mind the cold. I was about to start turning on all heaters for my friend´s visit when she called me to say she did not dare go out.
I understand her. Pavement gets slippery with rain and although her son will bring her, she is old, overweight and wear crutches. None of that goes well with taking a walk even if it is from the car to the door.
So I decided to bring my lunch (a delicious rice omelet with a cup of coffee) to my bedroom. And I continued watching the several programs around man´s landing on the moon.
Several channels are showing space programs. Exactly 50 years ago, Neil Armstrong was the first man to step on the moon. I proudly say that I had the thrill of looking at it all in out black and white TV. As I watch it all now, I understand more how it all was. But I do understand than then we did not know if the astronauts would ever come back.

Rain kind of ended my productive work for the day. Seems to have let up now which is good because there are a couple of things that have to be done before going to bed.

Today I decided to be completely lazy. I stayed in bed and watched TV until I fell asleep. I woke up and had a coffee and a sandwich and here I am, mylotting. There´s not much to do.

I am. The landing of the Apolo 11 has been so good that I have not even tried to look for something to watch.

The whole expedition was a bit 'fly by the seat of your pants' stuff, wasn't it? The risks were huge.
