A 2-year-old boy in Minnesota had his driving privileges revoked after he drove to the county fair on his battery powered John Deere tractor without telling his parents.
The story reminded of George Jones, the country singer who used to ride his John Deere around Nashville.
On Thursday, Chisago County sheriff’s department received a call about a missing child. Thankfully, a sheriff’s deputy found him safe just a few minutes later at the county fair close to his home.
The child lives about a block and half from the fair grounds, and had been watching workers assembling the rides over the last few days.
Would you punish your child if he did this?
Police located Kenneth shortly after he disappeared from his family's yard, but the toddler was sad he wasn't able to get on any rides.

I'm glad he was found safe. I know I would have had my butt blistered for something like that...but at that age it seems to me some older is the one who needs to be held accountable.
Who lets a 2 year old child play outside without supervision?

This child will become an adventurous one in the coming days. He is brave enough to travel on his own to where he wants to be. I just think that the parents should be vigilant enough to watch over their toddler. He is pretty much vulnerable at this time and goo thing nothing bad happened to him on his way to the county fair.

I would take away his driving privileges and have a long talk with him about where he is allowed to drive his tractor.

I would watch my 2-year-old much closer. He should not be unsupervised long enough to do this! AND take the tractor away.

Not necessarily, but I would keep a better eye on him for sure.

I agree the boy needed closer supervision. You never know what a two year old will decide to do.

Yes I would have to find some type of punishment, so he knows he can`t leave when he wants all alone.
