I have to give credit where credit is due to the heart of compassion that Lawrenceville (Georgia) Police Officer did for a homeless man she met at a pawn shop two years ago when she answered a call for help.
Officer Dena Walker Pauly is one person who became friends with Bob who was living in the streets who suffered a stroke that took away his ability to speak.
Officer Pauly decided to assist Bob by finding him a place to stay and become friends by being his caretaker for the last two remaining years of his life.
Bob passed away while he was in hospice due to his illnesses that plagued him throughout his life.
His friendship with Officer Pauly will leave a lasting impression that she did her best to assist a homeless man who had a terrible life find a friend before he passed away on July 17.
I am sure that Officer Pauly did this act of kindness out of heart which will make her a better person in the future and inspire others to follow her example.
