The photo is of the one section of Little Fishing Creek (the actual name of the creek per the Ranger we spoke to) that didn't look too muddy or dirty to bother taking a picture of. I took it on our hike on Thursday. The trail led through a heavily wooded area and there wasn't much to photograph. I did like this view of the small rapids on the creek. I tried to load the afternoon after the hike but guess the bandwidth available couldn't handle it.

Looks like a neat little creek. It doesn't look deep enough to fish in but there are probably deeper places.

I didn't have a chance to try my luck with rod and reel, but there were several spots along the creek where I suspect some bluegill or speckled robin were waiting.

@DWDavis You'll have to try your luck when you have time. You might find more fish than you think.

Too bad it was too hot, maybe in the fall it will be better.

That's a river to us . Our local creeks are piddly compared to that - some years they have been completely dry. Looks like a beautiful place for a hike!

There were some smaller creek beds that had dried up and a few nearly so. From what we could see of the banks, the level in this creek was down some, too.

It was. There under the shade, the heat wasn't so bad.

If it had not been so hot, I might have tried. I always have my light tackle with me when we camp.

That's a neat name for a creek/River. We have tidal rivers. The Gaspereaux is usually clear and great for fishing. The Petitcodiac River is chocolate brown. It's is a sight see.

That place looks gorgeous. Seems like a fun place to go back to when the weather is cooler!
