Blah Tuesday Morning

It's a blah kind of morning here. I didn't sleep well. My knee hurt last night even after I took some medicine for it. My mom had another episode late yesterday and that was on my mind. My hubby came home from work stressed. Dinner was late. I didn't get my editing job finished and gave up on it for the night.
So I'm up with hubby's alarm at 5 am. He wakes me up to tell me that mom is awake. This is unusual and I usually have to wake her up. I fix her a cup of coffee and a slice of apple pie. Yeah, she got pie for breakfast.
Hubby gets ready for work and leaves. I secure the door and get back in bed. I was so tired I did not even get a cup of coffee. It is hubby's job to make coffee since he is the first one up during the week.
I fell back asleep only to get a phone call. It's the hubby. He left his raincoat and wants me to please bring it out to him because he is late now. Okay, went out and he says oh you don't have to come out to the truck. Duh. I was already there.
Back inside, secure the door. I still don't want coffee so got back in bed. I'm back up now and have been working on notifications and doing a bit of reading here on MyLot.
Did your day get off to a good start or bad one? I'm going to get some coffee now and try to turn this morning around.

with all the stress y'all've been 'nder fer such a long time, 'tis no wonder, hon. i feel fer ya momma, e'en though she's gonna get to finally go home, such'll not be the same 'n 't might frazzle the poor dear. e'en though she's asked fer some changes, such might be quite the challenge to get 'er settled.

It has been interesting. She described a chest of drawers today that she didn't have before the flood. I don't know if this was a piece of furniture she had in the past, just married, teen, etc, She showed us where she wanted to put it in her room. We will figure it all out in time.
