No one showed up yet for balcony sliding door installation

I am supposed to have people come in to replace my balcony sliding door and so far no one showed up. I am trying to call the store to confirm that someone is actually coming but no one is picking up.
I hate it when they don't give you an exact appointment time but give you a time range like say 12 pm - 3 pm. You have to sit there for hours waiting for people to show up. And they may show up last minute, or even past the scheduled time. That's time wasted that could've been used for something else. Why can't they just set a specific time for the appointment?
There is still time left until 3 pm. I hope they actually show up... I am sure someone would've called if the appointment had been cancelled.

Nope. Waiting for the delivery of one of the parts in the correct size. The original came in the wrong size so they were not able to install the sliding door.

@lovebuglena Sorry to hear that. Well, that's a waste of time. Did they not measure it correctly? Is it prefabricated?

Maybe they had some trouble with an installation. They probably never know how long it's going to take. It's 2:35 pm here now so maybe they're already there???

@LindaOHio They told us all their appointments got pushed back and that someone was supposed to call us to confirm the appointment. No one did. They took stuff out of the box to put together and it turned out the size of the thing on which the door slides (don't know what it's called) is wrong. The guy contacted the office and told them about this and they are supposed to send us the correct size. Once we get that they will come install the balcony door. But have no idea exactly when all this will happen.

I hope they get there soon. I hate the range too. I agree. It's always a wasted day.

I've been calling many times to try and find out if anyone is coming but no one is picking up. Very frustrating.

They showed up almost 3 pm. Told us all their appointments got pushed back. But they couldn't install the door because something came in the wrong size.
