Hello, myLotters ! "Phew"-ing because it was blistering hot today, and also because the day was crazy and stressful and I'm so glad it's over. We had "beach day" at work today, and that consisted of the kids mostly playing in water--whether it was in the water table or in a wading pool. My co-worker has been having some difficulties, and today I kind of felt she was--not so much projecting them on me, but really internalizing things and not being as friendly as she usually is with me today. That made things a bit "walking-on-eggshell"-y. Then today we had more children than we've been having. Lately we've been having 10-12, sometimes less than 10, but some kids came back from vacation and whatnot today, so we wound up with 15 or 16. Those outside the preschool arena might not think it makes that big of a difference, but it does. Anyway, right now I need to get ready to go to church for Bible Study and hopefully dinner (lots of folks bring food--though there are times when some folks bring mostly dessert). So, I'll be off. I hope that you have had a great day/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !

I'm sorry for the tough day you had at work. I will be praying for her and whatever she's going through. I hope Bible study is amazing! =)

Thank you so much, Jennifer. Her name is Monica. Bible study was wonderful on many levels.

@xstitcher I prayed for her without knowing her name because God knew who I was talking about. =) I'm glad Bible study was good!

I HAVE worked in a preschool, that included special needs kids. Yes, 15-16 in a class is a lot. I am glad that they could do water play on a sweltering day. It is hard when your co-worker is a little "off".

Oh, my--special needs kids. I wish I had the fortitude to work with them. Yeah--co-workers can make things hard in all sorts of different ways.
