can you notice if someone lies to you?

can you see when you're talking to someone, but they are not telling the truth? you know what i mean, they're trying to hide something from you. I think i might notice it if somebody i talk to is not telling me the truth. i think i can see it through their face expression and their eyes and also i can see their body language. well i am not a psychology master but i think i might notice it.
and when i know that they lie to me, i'll just smile to them and wont force them to tell me the truth and i think they have their own reason to not tell me the truth.
how about you? can you see if someone is lying to you?

@sophie09 I can not stand when people lie. Especially when it's over and over again. Some people are really good liars but eventually get caught while others are really bad at lying and people can just tell.
There are some people I can always tell when they are lying due to how they talk and how often they contradict themselves.

There are times when I can spot a liar.
Usually I could tell when my children were lying when they were very young.

That's the basic gestures of a person who is lying. I notice them too. But to our grandchildren, I tell them frankly to stop telling a lie. It won't give them a good result.
