Back to work after a 4 day weekend

In said 4 day weekend, I did a lot! Went on a quick road trip to Iowa, camped for a day, then traveled up to WInona, Minnesota where I stayed for a day and explored the town and did some hiking. Went on a CAVE tour in Harmony, Minnesota. Got back home, caught up mostly on laundry, went to the beach and grocery shopping, hung out with my mom for a bit, meal prepped for the coming week including two separate pasta salads, got my exercise time in, did a little shopping, finished the Kristin hannah book I started on Sunday... I also managed to book my flight and rental car for the upcoming Utah trip. Now is the hard part- looking at lodging. All is good! Now I am about to get ready to get rolling to work. Only a 42 hour work week and then I am off for a couple more days. I haven’t worn makeup in 4 days! It is going to feel strange for sure. Anyone else have a super productive weekend?

It does seem as though you had a busy weekend. It was definitely productive. Sometimes I do have productive weekends. But we do still find time to relax.

@maezee Sounds like you were very busy when you got home from your time away. So when are you going to Utah and for how long? I like driving trips. Before I left for Israel I drove cross country did the west coast and the east coast too.

You did so much in your 4 days off! I'm off for a week, but I am beginning an exercise program, and am trying to stay focused on that. And that is a big deal for me. Then back to work next Monday.

Just hearing about your outings and looking at that photo takes me right back to my times there! You certainly packed plenty in. I have been doing wildlife surveys and entertaining lots of children (and some of their adults). All good fun - will have to post about itlater!
