I really admire the way a third grade student in Terre Haute Indiana named Abbi Zamani is spending her summer vacation with the help of her grandmother to sew over 50 pillows to be donated to the Hux Cancer Center in Terre Haute.
Abbi is doing this wonderful act of kindness to not only provide a good cheer for patients in that hospital. Abbi's mother Carli is a patient at that same hospital.
Abbi is hoping to reach her goal of sewing more than 100 pillows to be donated to the hospital as a way to give back to her community.
Even though Abbi will enrolling to third grade at the Van Duhn Elementary School next month, she insists she will continue sewing pillows for cancer patients.
The officials at that hospital are hoping that young children follow the example of giving gifts to the hospital since not only will the patients feel better, Abbi and anyone who assist others will be blessed in the future.
