Many of us have known Rudyard Kipling´s book Mowgli through the Disney movie: The jungle book. Less of us know that Kipling was the first English Nobel prize laureate or that he wrote several other books as good as that one. Captains courageous is one of his books turned into a movie. And yesterday, thanks to Netflix, I could watch it and remember the book that I read a long time ago. The book is the story of a rich brat that falls to the ocean from a cruise ship. He is rescued by sailors that were fishing in that ocean. The book is about how he turned to a man there, although the movie is not exactly as the book as it always happens. Captain Courageous is a very good family movie, with human values from the beginning to the end. i enjoyed it.
