My Nan is back home from surgery. A growth was found....

I did a post last night. Please feel free to check it out if this post seems unclear. I'm sorry to appear lazy, I'm just very tired. I will attach that post in this one if it's needed. My Nan had a full hysterectomy today. She is back home. Her surgeon told her that she was in there longer than expected. Also told her to "not hit the panic button yet" but some growth was found. It will be tested to see what it is. So now we shall wait for that result. Not that it will fix anything but I plan to buy her some flowers and a card. So that is the update with my Nan. Her birthday is on the 4th of August too. My Pop rang today. He actually felt good because it's the first time he remembered her birthday for quite some time ( having bad symptoms of dementia ). I offered to go out to buy something for him, for him to give to Nanny but he isn't sure yet. He asked me if I knew what was happening that day, like if there was going to be a birthday lunch etc. I just said that I don't know anything yet as I feel like we are all just waiting for all these damn surgeries to pass. Still no word from my dad's surgeon either.
And the year just keeps getting better!!!! [em]suspicious[/em] So back in June my brother had to take my Nanny to the Emergency Room as she was not feeling...

It is nice that your Nan is out of the hospital. I think it is also good that the doctor found that growth and decide to remove to have it tested. I hope she will recover soon and that the result is good

Awww nice to have your grandpa recalling her day. Its sad to have a dementia suffering and lose conscience but its equally amusing to see them still remember their loved ones. You're lucky to have both grand parents and good to know your nanny is back home

@Loverabbit That is exactly right. I can see how stressful it is for him when he loses things around the house or forgets things very quickly. Thank you very much for your answer.

@Loverabbit lol well first off, I'm not a kid. Nor an inconsiderate person. I've never pulled that "I'm sick" excuse to my family members unless it's actually true.

@VivaLaDani13 I could have sworn that I wrote you here and then saw it was gone. Maybe I didn't do respond. Now, I am writing. You are not having much fun right now. Your Dad, your Nan, and Charlie. That was nice you got her a card and flowers. Her birthday is not far from mine. Happy birthday to her. I hope she does not have to have more surgery. They did enough to her.

@Hannihar No worries at all. It's cool your birthday is close to my Nan's birthday. I hope everything will turn out alright for her. My poor Poppy is really worried about her. Thank you for always being there for me.

@VivaLaDani13 I am sorry about the growth. I hope she will be fine. That is horrible she had a hysterectomy and now they find a growth. I would say she would not for her birthday is for the nightmare to be over and she will be ok. Happy birthday to her early. That was nice you got her a card and flowers.

@VivaLaDani13 Our kind and merciful God or our Heavenly Father is just a prayer a way and it won't take time to pray to Him. He answers the prayer of faith.

@Nakitakona I thank you very much for your comment but I am not religious or really believe in the power of prayer. People have been praying for me and my family since the start of this year and it's getting worse and worse. I honestly thank you, but I personally do not pray.

I am glad she is already back home, hospitals are depressing. My best wishes to her and I hope the surgeon will call your father.
